Contact can be made via the Club's Contact Details, through any committee member or turn up during training sessions and ask around. Based in the Sedibeng Region formely known as the Vaal, the club falls under SAFA Sedibeng and is currently playing in the Lenasia Soccer League.

Best Soccer Value – The Club will work to keep the costs of player participation at levels that are reasonable and supportive of our soccer programs for player development and league play.

Score for Freedom

Read more ...The Roshnee Sports Council and the Roshnee Football Club in conjunction with the Vaal Muslim Women's Forum is proud to host the 2nd Annual "Score for Freedom Tournament" in Roshnee. This will be the second such tournament held under the banner of the Palestinian Solidarity Alliance (PSA) and all its alliance partners.

This years tournament which will held on the 2 April 2017 in Roshnee will be a part to the Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) which runs from the 6 to 12 March 2017. (IAW press release here...)

Knockout Champions

Read more ...In a riveting knockout final the Roshnee Football Club Under 17 team beat Manchester Rovers in a penalty shootout when the score remained deadlocked on 1-1 after extra time. The RFC under 17's won the penalty shootout 2-0 after two brilliant saves by their goalkeeper. Coach Zuber "Salty" Surtee says it was a fitting end to a long season and the boys worked hard to get to the final and played like stars.

Under 9s win in Ermelo

Read more ...The Roshnee Football Club's Under 9 team entered the Ermelo Tournament held on the 1 and 2 of September this year. The team played in the under 10 division and performed brilliantly as they won all their games on their way to the final. The final was against the home team and the RFC Under 9's beat Ermelo 2-0 to be crowned the winners of the Ermelo Tournament in the under 10 division. Mohammed Zahid Badat from the RFC Under 9 team was awarded the player of the tournament prize.

RFC 2016 Tournament

Read more ...The Roshnee Football Club is delighted to invite all interested teams to participate in our Annual Soccer Tournament which will be hosted on the 3 & 4 September 2016. This years tournament promises to be bigger and better then ever before. We have introduced a competitive division which will play 2 halves of 20 minutes on a full size pitch and not the usual smaller grounds with short single half games where the game is over before the kids even warm up.

New Head Coach

Read more ...The Roshnee Football Club is proud to announce that it has secured the services of a new Head Coach, Mr Abdul Samad Cassim. Coach Shady, as he called by his players, has already started putting the RFC teams through their paces and had an opportunity to assess the players in some pre-season friendly games. Coach Shady is ably assisted by his support team which includes Gordon Basson, Molo Moabi and Jappie Greyling who is also a specialist goalkeeper coach.

Skills Video Page

We have added a new video page on the website. This page will mostly help our kids to learn drills that will imptove their soccer skills. Parents can encourage their kids to practice these drills at home or in the backyard. Hope our visitors have fun with our new addition. Click on the new "SKILLS" button in the top menu.

KNVB Coaching

Read more ...The Roshnee Football Club Coaching team recently attended a coaching program hosted by SuperSport Football Club at the Mondeor Meteors Football Club in the south of Johannesburg. The course was presented by a coach from the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) and a Coach from SAFA.

The New Exec 2015/16

Read more ...The Bi-annual General Meeting (BGM) of the Roshnee Football Club was held on Saturday 12 December 2014 at the Roshnee Indoor Sports Centre at 16h00.

The BGM was held during the Roshnee Football Club Year End Function for the 2014 Season (see gallary here). After the players received their Trophies from their respective coaches
